Improvement Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard

This programme is ideal for those within an organisation responsible for identifying potential opportunities, diagnosing issues, proposing solutions and implementing changes and controls.
Why should you attend?
Typically Improvement Practitioners lead smaller projects and/or play a key supporting role in a larger programme - tackling issues that may require swift problem solving, or re-occurring challenges that require in-depth analysis and the implementation of a range of effective and sustainable countermeasures.
Course outline
Our Improvement Practitioner programme has been designed to meet the apprenticeship standard with learners able to also achieve an ILM Level 4 Award in Leadership & Management while on programme (free of charge).
Each training session has been carefully designed to adopt an accelerated learning approach and is split into 3 core phases:
- Lean and Six Sigma skills
- Project and change management principles
- Leadership and management skills
Learners will be supported throughout the programme with regular 1-2-1 reviews to ensure they stay on track and appropriate support provided.

Assessment
End Point Assessment takes place on completion of the apprenticeship programme of learning. It is a comprehensive holistic assessment of skills and knowledge against the whole apprenticeship standard involving:
- Multiple choice exam testing knowledge (10%)
- Project report, presentation and Q&A (60%)
- Professional discussion underpinned by portfolio of evidence (30%)
