Project Management Fundamentals (PFQ)
Who should attend?
This 5-session course is for all managers looking to use project management techniques to improve control over their workload. You don’t need to have the title Project Manager to have responsibilities for delivering outputs. Time and resource pressures affect us all, so we could use some project management tools and techniques to help us stay in control.
Why should you attend?
The PFQ is the first step in the APM suite of certifications and during the course you will develop a broad understanding of the key elements of the APM Body of Knowledge (BoK). You will gain a fundamental awareness of project management terminology; a broad understanding of the principles of the profession and the knowledge to make a positive contribution to any project.

Assessment
This course is mapped to the Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ), accredited by APM. Successful completion of a 1-hour multiple choice exam will result in this Level 3 professional qualification.
The exam is online and can be booked on demand via APM. The exam will be invigilated remotely using ProctorU and you will require a laptop/pc, webcam and mobile phone with camera.
An additional £212 registration fee will apply.
Progression
For those seeking to progress their project management skills pathway, we offer a 10-session course mapped to the Project Management Qualification (PMQ), accredited by APM which is a Level 4 professional qualification.
We also offer the Associate Project Manager Standard which is an apprenticeship pathway and employers can use their Apprenticeship Levy Digital Account to pay for the cost.
